With varying levels of ambition and success I have spent most of my life making art. But it was a 5 year stretch in the Rietveld Acedemie in Amsterdam that taught me about fine art.

I make things that illustrate my ironic viewpoint of contemporary society, hegemony and globalisation.

But during my close shave with the art world I discovered that begging for subsidies and gallery opening schmoozing doesn’t suit me or my talents. So my art practice now is pretty much focused on the joy of making the things I want to make…and it’s a cheap way to decorate my house.
